Group fitness / aquafitness
We offer a variety of group fitness classes to improve all components of physical well-being, which include cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, as well as flexibility. Classes are given by qualified instructors and are designed to suit the needs and abilities of the participants.

  • Group Fitness Membership allows for access to all classes (see schedule below).
  • Members will be required to wear a color-coded tag for entry purposes.
  • Please note that classes are subject to change depending on attendance.
  • There is a $5 fee to replace lost membership tags.

  • Annual fee is for an 11 month membership. Annual shutdown is in September.
  • Annual memberships are renewable one year from initial date of purchase.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Aquafit
Cardiovascular exercise as well as a variety of muscular-conditioning exercises using aquabells, noodles and boards followed by stretching and relaxation exercises.

Step
Step aerobics (step height is adjustable) followed by muscle conditioning exercises using resistance tubing, weights as well as floor exercises.  The class ends with stretching and relaxation exercises.

On the ball
Full body muscle-toning work-out done with/on the stability ball. Participants are welcome to bring their own ball to guarantee themselves a spot in the class.

Cardio Mix
Cardio! Cardio! Cardio! A combination class that includes Step and Hi/ Low aerobics.

X-Press
Fast-paced, easy to follow cardio and muscle combo class. The instructor guides the class through a 3 – 5 minute cardio segment (Step + Hi/Low) followed by 2 – 3 muscular exercises. This cycle is repeated various times to provide the participant with a full work-out. Be prepared to sweat!
